Minos
In October 2002, a new cluster of parallel workstations for high performance computing named Minos (minos.zcu.cz) was built at the Pilsen branch of ITI. The cluster Minos offers computing power of 32 processors Athlon 1900+ GHz in 16 dual PC's, each with 1 GB memory and a 40 GB hard disk, connected by fast gigabit Ethernet, under operating system LINUX. The cluster Minos is interconnected with the computing facilities of MetaCentrum.
